Royalty waivers are appreciated and may be used is assigning
higher favorability when scheduling music for webplay.
Songs are ranked in the Big Bay 99 by a variety of criteria, including
but not limited to the following: (1) recording quality and amount of studio
production employed, including musical arrangement & lyrics, (2) artist
visibility at bay area venues and in the press and other media, especially
airplay on WMNF, (3) numbers of plays posted on MySpace
page and other online artist links. Artists and songs that get the most
response in the Guestbook on the Contact page tend to
get more attention.
Songs are chosen for
web-play and listing in the published playlists at the sole discretion of MTB.
Songs in the Top-10 are ranked according to votes cast in the Top-10 display on
the homepage.
